Radiofrequency Microneedling (Morpheus8)

All of the providers at REDJuvenation strive to provide you with personalized, high-quality care help you look and feel your best.

In recent years, radiofrequency microneedling has risen as one of the most effective skin rejuvenation treatments. The procedure combines the twin benefits of microneedling and radiofrequency therapy to activate your body’s dormant healing and collagen production capabilities.

At REDJuvenation, we are proud to offer Morpheus8 for microneedling!

Morpheus8 is one of the most advanced skin tightening and toning methods we have seen to date. We are proud to provide this technology for patients interested in meaningful facial rejuvenation without surgery.

All about Morpheus8

Morpheus is a microneedling technique that is combined with radiofrequency, making it more effective than simple microneedling alone. It does this by creating controlled damage in the tissue that prompts the body’s repair mechanisms to create new collagen and elastin in the treated area. This remodeling results in firmer and tighter skin. Designed by InMode Aesthetics, Morpheus8 is a leading device in combining microneedling and radiofrequency.

Morpheus8 helps improve the appearance of:
  • Excess fat in the face and neck
  • Mild sagging and jowling in the face and neck
  • Uneven or rough skin texture
  • Acne scarring and other scars on the face or body
  • Deep lines and creases
  • Sun damage
  • Enlarged Pores
  • Stretch Marks

Treatment is commonly performed on the face and neck. It can be used to soften the jowls and nasolabial folds, tighten the skin around the eyes and neck,  and overall rejuvenate the skin. Morpheus can also be used in any areas where remodeling and skin tightening is needed.

So What Exactly Is Microneedling?

Collagen induction therapy, also known as microneedling, is nearly painless and has been shown to have incredible effect on the health and beauty of your skin. The concept is simple, by inflicting thousands of imperceptible injuries to the top layer of skin, the body is encouraged to produce additional collagen and regenerate the surface layer with fresh, unblemished skin. It’s no surprise it’s becoming one of the most popular beauty treatments around.

Why Pair Microneedling With Radiofrequency Therapy?

Radiofrequency microneedling combines the benefits of microneedling and radiofrequency therapy. The microneedles puncture the uppermost layers of the skin and deliver thermal energy to the underlying layers. Your body increases skin cell turnover to replace the damaged skin cells and activates collagen production, leading to a smoother, firm, and even skin.

RF Microneedling is unique because of its heightened customizability. The device includes numerous settings, allowing the provider to modify it according to your specific skin concerns, texture, and quality.

Why Choose Redjuvenation for Radiofroquency Microneedlingm (RFMN):

Redjuvenation is unique in that, since we have a physician present in our clinic daily, InMode has unlocked additional advanced settings that allow us to further customize our treatments in ways other facilities may not be able to do. Our operators create individual detailed plans for each patient to ensure the best results possible. As with so many aesthetic procedures, RFMN is highly operator dependent. Unfortunately, there are lots of examples of poor results on social media due to operators using inappropriate settings and modalities. Having a physician who can access more advanced training in proper use of RFMN means that all this knowledge is accessible for use in our patients. In addition to this, Redjuvenation works to make RFMN as comfortable as possible for our patients. We have highly effective topical anesthesia (another benefit of having an anesthesiologist in the office) as well as offering ProNox for our patients that need extra pain control. We make sure we take plenty of time to numb the treated area and we are meticulous when performing the treatment.

Can Microneedling Reverse Sun Damage?

Absolutely. One of the best things for damaged skin is an influx of new collagen, an influx that occurs when the skin is treated with microneedling. Collagen has been shown to help reverse sun damage and help with discoloration. Even more amazing is that this process has been shown to be effective in the treatment of melasma, a condition in which hyperpigmentation results in brown blotching on the skin.

I’ve Got Large Pores, Will RF Microneedling help?

Absolutely! While poking your skin full of thousands of tiny holes may not sound like the most intuitive way to shrink your pores, but the results speak for themselves. Pores actually dramatically reduce in size as a result of the plumping effect of renewed collagen, making them appear smaller or completely closed.

Where Can I Receive RF Microneedling?

RFMN can be done anywhere on the body where you want to see shrunken pores, tighten skin, and renewed elasticity. Redjuventation offers Morpheus8 for the abdomen, back, legs, arms and butt-basically any area of the body that has stretch marks, acne scars, surgical scars, or aging skin.

Is Microneedling Safe For Use With Scarred Areas In General?

Not only can you use microneedling on scars, this process has shown incredible restorative effects when used on patients experiencing acne scarring. If you’re looking to address particularly severe scars, you’ll want to speak to your dermatologist for treatment. Using specially designed microneedling equipment they’ll be able to help you restore elasticity and vibrancy to your scars, reducing their visibility dramatically.

PRP v. Exosomes

At Redjuvenation, we decided from the start that exosomes were the best aftercare treatment for our RFMN patients. Exosomes are 100x more powerful than PRP, containing 380 growth factors compared to 12 in PRP. Benev exosomes are included in our Morpheus packages, along with their Exo-Balm for use at home after treatment. Exosomes help the skin heal rapidly after RFMN, and promotes more collagen and elastin production. We find a more dramatic improvement when using the exosomes after a Morpheus treatment.
